Rytious is a hip hop artist in South Africa. He and I have talked about the issues in South Africa post apartied (if that exists). Does racism ever go away? I got a wild hair and took a few of his songs and some beautiful and shocking images from Africa and The South African Struggle and tried to create a message of hope. It is not perfect, it was my first attempt to tell a story with images. I topped it off by including his hard-hitting Video, "Salute".
I love making videos, I have two others in my "Occult Education Series" I am converting to professional narration as in my " Introduction to The Bio Psycho Social Model of Mental Illness", which actually heals the mind rather than masking symptoms with harmful drugs.
I had a brain injury, which is NOT a mental illness (schizophrenia is a mental Illness) Anxiety and Depression (What Psychiatry calls Bipolar Disorder) are natural reactions to a society that bombards us with negativity, fear, and edited soundbites that make life seem hopeless at times.
The TRUTH IS, mental health is a matter of YOUR thinking and what YOU focus on, and what YOU do to promote a healthy attitude (The Basis of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) That has been used by Native American Healers for Centuries as Hyapatia Lee (Formally Trained Native Healer) talks about here and the concept of "Wheels of Life" or what you might think of as "Medicine Wheels". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFV4AMtQKXk&t=224s
These drugs should NEVER have been prescribed for me or MILLIONS of others. I explain why in an informative video I made that is at the bottom of this page.
The Medical Model of Mental Illness Dominates the Mental Health Community backed by the Billions spent marketing DRUGS as a miracle cure-all. However, there is also a Bio Psycho Social Model of anxiety and depression that heals rather than masking symptoms while causing a whole host of other issues like Akathisia, Tardive Dyskinesia, Diabetes and other metabolic disorders, Psychosis, Suicidal Ideations, And even Death. More people die every year from overdosing on Psychiatric Medications than from Heroin.
